Central Wisconsin, Your Birth Circles are HERE

Women have been gathering together for all of human history. Whether it be holding space during their menstrual cycles or at the commons for laundry. Women have always gathered together.

As I entered womanhood, and motherhood in particular, I couldn't believe how isolated I felt. I felt competition, and worse yet, judgment for any decision I was making. I knew there were alternatives but they felt so far out of reach. And like anyone feeling stuck in a situation, it took bravery to step outside the box I had known. I joined a women's group that would meet weekly. In that group I began to see all of our struggles as one in the same. I was no different, or special, than my sisters. I saw how we all held the same heaviness in our hearts and felt the shift that would occur when we gathered in circle.

This sacred circle became my nest. A place of safety and comfort. A place to be held during the hard moments and to celebrate my wins. Gone was the competition and right vs. wrong. We were all doing life together.

By experiencing a more intentional, soulful way to connect with women I was able to change the stories I held around my female relationships. It allowed me to approach all women as sisters fighting the same battle. I didn’t feel isolated, I felt connected.

Any type of circle, whether it be birth, moon, or womens, is a space where something so special happens. When women gather, magic happens. And I'm sure you've experienced it. Meeting with mom friends for a play date or your homeschool coop. Something recharges our soul when we gather. As we move into the age of community it is important to work with the energy that the stars are aligned, it’s important we come together.

Birth circles are in the forefront of my mind this year. To gather around the very thing that made us mothers to share our own wisdom for the greater good of our community. Please drop your email in the sign up below to be notified when our circles will be held.
